That's probably the direct translation of the word, 'topic' in Malay. But lo and behold, this unarousing caught my attention on one particular busride.
Ask any malay local and they'd willingly agree that what I've just said is true but what made this noun so distinct was the fact that I saw it outside the Singapore Korean School.
WTF!? The Korean school?? Just when I realised that instead of being a misplaced word from a native language, it turned out to be a perfectly English acronym known as the 'Test Of Proficiency In Korean'. Talk about irony. I'm sure any malay dude reading this right now would surely have an amused smirk on their face.
So now, does ANYONE have acronym's of their own? I just made one. Dedicated to our beloved army of course. Appropriately titled, 'Serve And F*ckoff.'
What could be more fitting!??
