Well well now..it's been another week and a half since I've posted? Well, I really can't help myself. Sometimes, busyness (spelt correctly?) gets the better of me. Other times, you just have to understand that Rome wasn't built in a day and that I needed time to creat a masterpiece.

-LONG PAUSE-

I'm sorry, I had to attend to someone who was choking ...

Anyway, I've been putting alot of thought into this statement as of late and I've been wondering, is there anyone in the modern world right now, who isn't? What I'm talking about is being Brand Blind. In my context and personal definition, being brand blind to me simply means not being bothered or tempted every moment I go by boutiques or walk past branded stores. It also means that I don't fly into panic attacks and seizures everytime I don't a frequent dosage of whatever brand I fancy.

On the flipside, just because I openly state that I'm brand blind doesn't mean that I don't care about what I wear. You wouldn't be so foolish as to expect me to be wearing a paper-thin white singlet and pyjama bottoms with slippers to school now do you? Presentability and COMMON SENSE being the words to understand here.
I really don't understand how people can want so many things in such a short lifetime. Perhaps the term 'retail therapy' has not only settled in the emotions of many, but has also modified and warped itself into something which people use as an excuse to shroud themselves in high-end luxury. Using 'therapy' is a very pathetic excuse for being greedy.

Another issue I've been struck with recently is how Singaporeans do possibly the WEIRDEST things (next to Americans) at the most common of places. More on that the next time I make another entry, WHICH I guarantee, will be soon.

Dosfidanya!
