Ok, so here's the lowdown on things gonig on in my life.
No, nothing new's annoyed the shit out of me, just the ordinary day-to-day ordeals in life.
I was just doing a bit of calculation and it's occured to me that the exams are ONLY 18 days away! -gasps for air, not in horror cause my brother just farted-

Anyway, yea, those dreadful papers are gonna hit me soon in just over two weeks and to be honest about things, I'm not really all hot and worried about them; I'm just finding it irritating that the papers are situated so closely to each other! They're BACK TO BACK compressed in a span of one working week. Nothing could ever come more retarded than that, unless of course, you really are..

Anyway, the game plan is, after the exams, I'd most probably be looking for a job to fill up my bank account again. I came across this flyer on the school's notice board a couple of days ago which mentioned part-time jobs at the Oriental as a waiter, paying 6.50/hour. It's not bad for a part-time job. And considering that I've got nothing to do, why not? I'd be happy working in the mornings and of course, training in the afternoons and evenings.

The only question is what I'm gonna do with the paycheque that comes in. It's either gonna be stashing it away in my account to purchase competition equipment or using what little I have to go on a budget trip to Bangkok (which, in my sincerest opinion, really don't mind). On the other end of the spectrum, friends of mine brought up the marvellous idea of having a nice trip to whistler. Now, there's totally nothing wrong with this but spare me a thought (and also abit of consideration) for a moment. The trip's gonna cost about 5000SGD.

You kids are indeed very lucky to have your parents pay for such a trip. But please spare a thought for me and understand that I don't have that kind of money and it's not easy to come by in my kind of environment. I hate to say this but be more mindful of those around you and not be so selfish. This is something very important which most people would fail to understand- It isn't what you do in life that's important. Essentially, it's what you make of it that counts. I'd rather be easy, easy-going, and easily-contented than squandering the money which I have.

Anyway, on to the next topic. Training today was swell. I went to the school gym in the morning and knocked out a set of rather easy power cleans with 100kilos. I think just about the entire male population of the gym had their eyes turned on me wondering or not if such a *ahem!*, 'strong kid' actually existed in the school.

Tonight's training ended off with a bang with me making a 190kg back squat, which felt rather good. I wouldn't be surprised if normal people told me that my training regime is nuts, but the pure hard facts are, if you wanna succeed, you gotta make an impact. Hell, you think Armstrong had it easy fighting cancer in his fucking gonads before winning SIX Tour de France titles (he's now going for his seventh at age 34)?? The reality is, that's how hard you have to work.

If people have dedicated enough time to sports excellence, they would understand my train of thought. It's exactly comparible to how hard scholars study just to make that cut and attain godly bookworm godly-like glory.

Lastly, this serves as an announcement from me to you guys. It's about time I let it out. The Civil Defence force is holding an amateur Strongman competition on the 12th of March, for those who make it for the finals. My preliminaries will be held this Sunday at the Firemens' training centre over at boon lay. Grand finals of course, to be held at Ngee Ann City at 3pm.

The things I gotta do look like this.
  1. I gotta pull a 4-tonne truck over 30m in the shortest amount of time;
  2. I gotta flip a 180kg tyre over 30m
  3. I gotta hold 75kg in each hand,making a total of 150kg and walk with them over 25m in the shortest amount of time;
  4. I gotta pull a 2-tonne car over a 4-foot uphill ramp and
  5. I gotta load three 80kg barrels onto a 1m high platform in the shortest amount of time.

Indeed it's gonna be ALOT OF FUN for me simply because it's the first time I've ever taken part in such a competition. Mind you that professional Strongmen competitions are in NO WAY the same as Olympic weightlifting competitions. I would wanna do my best and if I ever make it to the finals, whether I win or lose, I would really like to see you guys come down to support me in every way because it would really mean alot to me.

So as a reminder, IF I qualify for the grand finals, you'd basically see me at Ngee Ann City on a Saturday afternoon(12th March) at 3pm performing crazy feats of strength; although not as crazy as the real World's Strongest Men..
