Gee...it feels really good to have vented my anger last night about Singapore Idol and you know what? I AM GONNA RANT AGAIN!I'm gonna settle a score ONCE AND FOR ALL...I hope.
Anyway, for the first time in my whole entire life, I am watching that stupid show. Yes, I am watching that stupid show..let's start off with Olinda. You know, for those f*ckers who said Diana de Garmo looked like Ms. Piggy singing, I BEG them to have a second look at Olinda.."Someone to have and hold with all my heart and soul"? Hahaha,ya damn right biatch.
Singapore Idol is the ultimate..really..Entertainment level: 10 and also, Entertainment level: 0. Let me explain..10 because I just find it intriguing to watch the kind of shit the contestants can dish out week after week; trying to get that shot to fame and 0 because they just don't deserve the spots on this show. Somehow I'm beginning to think that the talent pool in this country is really as endangered as the Big-Cocked Asian...
Anyway,before I go any further, thank you Ken Lim for being the only intelligent being on the show. He really is the unsung hero who,in my opinion, get's an unfair vocal beating by deaf fans each week. He's not blunt, he's not tactless..because that would be me. If you ask me, he's just giving ALL YOU GUYS- those who watch Singapore Idol, even worse, those who SUPPORT Singapore Idol and not forgetting the contestants, a slice of reality. Tonight, he just took the words straight out of my overflowing mouth when he shot Sylvester Sim down for his hideous singing. I can't help it but you should have seen that moron's face after listening to his criticisms. He had, "I'm stupid and I can't understand a single word you just said" written all over his sad-ass face.
Vicky, Lyn,you're gonna hate me for saying this but I didn't like his performance tonight, I never liked it before and I'll never like it in times to come. Really, I felt sorry for Jay Chou tonight after he sang the song in which you hold so dear. Week after week, Sylvester tries to woo the crowd by winking and grinning in an attempt to save his sorry ass from getting booted out so hard his head feels the pain. Why's he even on this show? He's such a waste of space. I would agree with one thing...he would do well on a chinese singing contest or some sort of variety show but he definitely has no place in a show with such a reputable status and reputation.
As for the other singers, I only have one thing going through my mind...Just why does Taufik have to use eyeliner? And don't any of you think that Daphne sounds abit on the M2M side?
